In 2002, our mixing solution was used to equip a municipal wastewater treatment plant in the Southern region of South Korea. 50 Aquaturbo mixers MIX-AS of 7.5 and 15kW guarantee the complete mixing of the aeration and anoxic zones of the 5 parallel lines of continuous SBR systems.
More than 23 years later, the vast majority of these units are still in operation, a clear demonstration of their robustness and longevity.
Over more than two decades, only minimal spare parts have been required. Four mixers and a few motor components have been replaced, while all other equipment remains fully operational.
After an initial batch of five replacement mixers in 2021, the operation team of the plant recently ordered two additional units, one per power range, intended as backup machines. These will allow for smooth equipment rotation during maintenance, with no interruption to treatment operations.

This high level of satisfaction is also the result of regular technical support from our local partner in Korea, who has been working closely with the end user for many years.
Choosing quality over low-cost alternatives
Despite strong commercial pressure from local as well as foreign manufacturers, the operator chose to continue with Aquaturbo equipment. Trials with alternative suppliers, which failed prematurely, clearly highlighted the differences in quality and reliability.
