A local authority in New Caledonia needed to replace its drinking water storage tank.
The project had to meet sanitary and regulatory requirements, including ACS certification, while also adapting to site constraints, particularly the cyclonic environment.
The solution consists of a prefabricated bolted steel tank with an epoxy coating, equipped with an ACS-certified sealing membrane and an aluminium geodesic dome roof.
Our teams supported the client throughout the project, particularly for the design and manufacturing of the tank, as well as for delivery, installation, and commissioning under supervision.
The tank is now integrated into the drinking water supply network. The solution implemented helped limit civil engineering requirements, shorten the construction period, and therefore reduce the overall project cost.
The structure is designed for simple operation, with a manhole located at the lower section of the tank.
