SFA Group continues to strengthen its division dedicated to water treatment with the acquisition of the French company Envirosep, a specialist in equipment for municipal water treatment.
Founded in 2014 by Nicolas Brincourt, Envirosep designs and manufactures in France a range of equipment dedicated to wastewater pre-treatment and sludge management. The company has quickly established itself as a recognised player thanks to its expertise in screw and bar screens, conveyingcompacting screws, sand classifiers, paddle mixers for liming, as well as sludge extractors.
This acquisition is part of the development strategy of SFA enviro, the Group’s division dedicated to equipment for municipal and industrial wastewater treatment.
SFA enviro builds on the strong legacy of Europelec, the pioneer within SFA Group in the field of water treatment. This foundation was further strengthened through the acquisitions of Aquasystems
International in Belgium and Aquaturbo Systems in the United States, leading to the official launch of the SFA enviro division at the IFAT trade show in 2022. Since then, SFA enviro has continued to
expand its international footprint.
Envirosep and SFA enviro have been working closely together since 2022, when SFA enviro began marketing the Envirosep range internationally.
This cooperation has led to numerous commercial successes in Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America. Three years later, this strategic partnership reaches a new milestone with the integration of
Envirosep into SFA enviro.
Thanks to this acquisition, SFA enviro strengthens its offering in primary treatment equipment and sludge management, complementing its established expertise in aeration technologies. The Group thus expands its ability to provide global solutions to wastewater treatment plant operators, local authorities, and industrial clients worldwide.
